Senior Department makes History - St Winifred’s goes Co-ed

It is now 8:20am on Wednesday 3rd September 2008 and in walk the new students for our two Form 1 classes. What makes this year so special and different from the previous September? Sixteen boys! Yes, St Winifred's School has made history. For the first time, in addition to our female students, male students proudly walked into our Senior Department. St. Winifred's Secondary School has gone co-ed!

Mrs. C. Gill and Mrs. W. Duncan have also made history as the form teachers of Form 1 and Form 1A to have male students in their forms. Thanks to all the teachers of these forms who made physical and mental adjustments to make this new beginning in the Senior Department a reality.
